Defiance or Submission, Courage or Acquiescence?

In the film The White Tiger the Indian slave combines both those attitudes according to the context and the power he had at that moment: once is a loyal and obedient slave, but, when, the master shows his weaknesses, the Withe Tiger would come out roaring and devour the master.
