How Pain Can Reveal Your Enemies

© by Maurizio Bisogno, 2014

When you have intense physical pain, you are induced to commit important mistakes, you are pushed to isolation, you observe a reduction of your life space – you are being subject to elimination, then you have enemies.

Intense acute physical pain makes you prone to commit mistakes that can have very serious negative consequences in your life; also it makes you behave in a manner that you push away people from you, as you become short tempered and intolerant of interactions with others, therefore you are more and more isolated; your life space is reduced to a corner and you are being eliminated, then, clearly and without doubts, you have serious enemies, at least that intense physical pain is your prima facie enemy. If there are people causing that pain, then they are your enemies.
The pain also can be your informant: when it comes up, you need to be more observant and understand that you are causing an effect in a situation that someone does not want you to have. This could also be related to the fact that you are probably on the way to your goal, that your actions are effective and that someone out there is noticing it and intends to stop you. Why would you let them to that? The pain’s cause can also be inside yourself as you are moving outside your comfort zone and your well settled fears are showing up. In this case, you cannot let them stop you neither, but it is useful to recognize them; name them in order to decide how much they are justified; if they are not, then you need to overcome them.
