This Christmas You Have A Choice To Make

The economy is based on people spending their money.

When people are spending they are exchanging the fruit of their work.

The economy is based on exchanging the fruit of people’s work.

People should not give away the fruit of their labour easily, if they do so they are just consumers who feed consumerism, which is based on a mass of people who spend more than they have and a minority of people who become ultra-rich.

You have a choice: to become a lemon to be squeezed or a conscious and informed provider of your needs and desires. When you fall in the flow of the consumerism, it looks easy and pleasurable at first, but then you do not realize that you spend 99% of your time trying to pay back those few moments of lightness. So, in fact, you are giving away your life in a split seconds You choose a few moments of euphoria that you will pay with a life of hard labour and misery.

Consumerism is based on impulses and false needs, if you work on yourself, if you live an examined life you will be able to discriminate between those illusions and that impulsive behaviour to decide your real needs and your authentic desires. This choice, of course, requires an effort that your are not educate to make, as it would empower you as an individual or as a group if you were sharing this project with others willing to do the same. Any power, and especially the money power, does not like empowered groups or individuals as they are very difficult to be manipulated and steered at will.

So this Christmas you have a choice to make.
