The Review That Proves Why the Book Matters
In the past few days a reader left a one-star review of Dialectical Arcana, calling it “AI-generated slop with factual errors.” No examples, no argument, no engagement with the book itself.
I want to address this openly—not to attack the reviewer, but to clarify something important about the work and, more broadly, about the times we live in.
Dialectical Arcana was created through months of research, drafting, rewriting, and cross-disciplinary study: Tarot de Marseille, political theory, historical sources, and the dialectical method. Every chapter reflects intentional interpretation and synthesis. Nothing about the book was automated, outsourced, or mechanically generated.
But the review is interesting for another reason: it reflects a broader trend. Today, complex ideas are often dismissed with labels instead of arguments. Instead of engaging, people resort to slogans like “AI slop,” which require no thought, no depth, and no responsibility. The very existence of this review inadvertently confirms why the book needed to be written in the first place.
If you’ve read the book—or if you’re simply curious about its method—you’ll find a detailed, deliberate attempt to bridge esoteric symbolism with political analysis. And if anyone wants to discuss a specific point, challenge an argument, or explore the framework more deeply, I’m always open to that dialogue. Critical engagement is welcome here. It’s part of the spirit in which the book was written.
For those who have supported the work with thoughtful messages and reviews: thank you. Depth still matters, even when it’s unfashionable.
